Feelings repeat themselves. If we do not know what we are feeling, how then, do we learn to address them in ways that are healthy and helpful in our life relationships? Recognizing those feelings and discovering healthy and effective approaches to address them is possible. My work began with girls 12-17; then adults struggling with life issues such as trauma, substance abuse, and lifetime illnesses. I have assisted Latinos and their families navigate and understand the effects emotional health has on one's life.

I am bi-lingual and bi-cultural, fluent in Spanish.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor of Arts                              Counseling & Human Services
  • Celebrant Training
  • Bereavement Counselor
  • Congregational Parish Ministry

For many years, I have helped others recognize that grief is an extraordinary journey—one we must walk each time we experience loss, especially in bereavement. Whether grief is complicated or anticipatory, it is often overwhelming, unwanted, and deeply misunderstood. The goal of this journey is not to “fix” what has been lost, but to move toward reconciliation—finding a way to live meaningfully alongside the loss.

It is a true privilege to walk alongside others in this deeply personal process, offering support as we move toward that shared goal of reconciliation. I am a strong advocate for empathy and understanding in grief work. Trust and compassion are not only helpful—they are essential for healing. The wilderness of grief can feel isolating, but it does not have to be a journey taken alone.

In my own life, I find renewal and peace through time at the beach, writing, meaningful connections with family, and being outdoors—especially surrounded by flowers. My faith is central to who I am and serves as a foundation in both my personal life and the work I do with others.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9
